not what I expected but still really good interesting world to explain more of in the next book there’s a nice progression it’s able to walk the line to keep power creep from raging out of control and thus destroying any tension in the story when the main character can just smash anything he likes..
The author is either a sheltered virgin who obsesses over women without having ever known any, is pretending to be that, or is writing specifically for that target audience.
This is a great story. I love the characters. The performance s of these characters are fantastic. Sound booth theater just does the best job of presenting a story. Well this story is the best. This is over the top great.

Only reason the 3 stars in performance is at the end as they are watching the crew it makes a white noise to symbolize a screen. This noise stays going on throughout the conversation for more then 20 min. Kinda distracting if you are driving or working while listening.

sometimes it sounds like the narrator is talking through a box fan like a toddler. i know that isn’t what is actually happening ( i hope at least), but still super annoying in that it felt like a prank when i had to break immersion to relistentomake sure my phone wasn’t malfunctioning… Easy to ignore..
