This book is definately more adult in nature. That being said, it is absolutely wonderful. A mix of The Running Man, Hitchhiker’s Guide, and a little Boarderlamds esque humor, it paints a wonderful story of a post-apocalyptic scenario that never fails to deliver.

I enjoyed the Plot. However I don’t know how I feel about the MC. I’ll likely continue to Book 2 when I find the motivation and I’ll edit my review if anything changes. This MC comes off as an almighty Simp. This anything for the girl thing really bothers me. He gives too much. what..

Simply incredible, boxy living among enlightened species really ups the tension. Small details propagate and influence later events, and characters develop with nuanced personalities.. The game mechanics are consistent and add to the experience without being distracting.
