I can’t do cringe, so I put off reading this, it’s good not cringy! humor is exactly the midpoint between Everybody Loves Large Chests and He Who Fights With Monsters. lovely! compelling storyline interesting npcs. Honestly loved the story and descriptions of people, places and emotions. The ending was messed up but everything leading up to it was great. Favorite part was the new Religion and personally enjoyed the God’s attitude and demeanor.

A great book, awesomely written and narrated. Very much not the story I expected. It feels humbling and a bit dark. Still I couldn’t wait to listen on. Luckily, the next book of the series is already released.
