10/10 Andrea Parsneau did so good with all her roles and the singing was unexpected and made me smile with glee. I love this story I cant wait for the next chapter of the story with this level entertainment. Jeff and Justin did a great job
The voices he uses for Jacks character and a lot of the side characters can be grating at times. large chunks of the book are dedicated to Jack’s stats and skills including just reading fake patch notes. all that aside, the story is intriguing enough and a pretty good ending.

The pace of this book was a lot faster than the first book. We finally get to see a lot of what this wide universe looks like. There is good character building and drama with the plot. The narration is top notch.
If these books went off a typical Stat setup then the MC would have a 10 Charisma and a 0 in Intelligence. Alot of these books are filler and we’re lucky to have a chapter without some ego stroking conversation. It’s also still the same premise of taking everyone that’s not the MC and forcing..

She made an avian elf sound like an 18th century opium smoking prostitute, her forced, overdone accents make it sound like she’s mocking the novel she’s working on, even though i’m sure that’s not what it is… The male reader..
