EA Hooper did a fine job at completing the trilogy and not leaving any significant open issues. However, the final plot had a “going through the motions” feel to it which, even more than expected in a final book in a trilogy. The first encounter between Vincent and his avatar Monica was done well but..
yes I know it’s silly… at times it can be downright hilarious… I will be anxiously awaiting the next book to come out.. the series has been a blast! Boxy has everyone cheering for evil! my thanks to the writer and sound booth, you’ve made my commutes wonderful!
Before I listened to this audiobook, went back and I listened to all the other books (50+ hours). Then I listened to this book twice. Enough said.
(Not a spoiler) After the book ends Charles Dean goes into a message explaining why getting this book out along with another was delayed. To this message I’d just like to say: You opened up and shared something heavy that I can definitely understand, I lost someone incredibly important to me maybe even the most..
This one really focused on the mind games and it was awesome. Kinda gets bogged down here and there, but the action and revelations was fun.
When the narrators talk over each other it’s sometimes nice but sometimes very annoying when it occurs multiple times in a row but overall it was a great book!!!
Story is great I am totally sucked in to the expansion of “OUR WORLD” the kingdoms development and character development is very entertaining I look forward to hearing more about pine fall and everything else really. There are so many great story building blocks starting to emerge this series could go far in my opinion..
However, this book in particular felt like a filler book. Nothing really important happened. This book was more about Blaise Corvin closing out some great plot lines, and beginning even more. Still a great performance by Jeff Hays.
