I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The performance was really good and the singing was great.

very few books I read have the draw to make me listen or read for a second or third time. prior to this book there have only been 5 series that I considered good enough to warrant a second visit, now I have 6.

I really really wanted to like this series but they main character is just so shallow and unlikeable. His only motivations are anger, hated and he really has nothing to lose but his pathetic gamer lifestyle. This ain’t no squid game. People die here. Carl is gonna make everyone aware of that inconvenient truth. He’s losing A LOT of friends. It’s time the showrunners and their corporate backers to sweat. Rules just became OPTIONAL.

I couldn’t make it through the whole this without balling my eye out. Good job! It was perfect in every way and I will be in shock for soooo long.

Sarah King’s books are always a blast to listen to. Not only is the story enthralling but the voice acting is incredible.

Definitely sucked me right in with the creative and mysterious story line with it’s action, desperation and comedy to keep it from getting too dark.The narrator does a great job and has probably heard it before but the voice for Carl sounds quite a bit like Patrick Warburton.

I can not get enough of this book series!! I absolutely love it. Full of laugh’s, and heart strings being pulled. I think the series gets better and better after each book, what a great story.
