This book can completely be cut from the series and you would miss nothing. Stretched out side quest and introspection. The enemy are mentioned, you meet a few Grisious briefly, no great accomplishments or revalations.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Delvers LLC series so far and this installment doesn’t disappoint. Blaise Corvin did a great job at writing and Jeff Hays is a fantastic narrator. I would definitely recommend this book.
Really great intro into this series. Solid humor mixed in with plenty of action. The MC is likeable enough, decent sidekick. Kind of a spin on a LITRPG version of The Hunger Games, but on a grander scale. I recommend.

I am just writing this now to get something down. In the immortal words of Wu Cheng-En, “Sometimes I enjoy listening to strange stories of angels and demons.“ (Look him up if you don’t know, philistine.) I think Iliev has done the old master proud.
I’m glad to see the new book in the series. I have been waiting it for a while. I really like the characters and world dynamics. The 4th installment did not disappoint! Very good character development and evolution. Plus Sound Booth Theater rocked it. Jeff Hays is amazing.
This is going to be one of those series I just never finish. The writing is solid, but the story is not. Almost every single thing has some kind of tie-in with religion, and it got old real fast. I definitely wasn’t expecting the 2nd coming of Jesus in a sci-fi novel.
