I am glad that I stuck with it and give this series a chance to mature. The books in volume II were a lot better than Volume I. Overall, it made for a great space opera style series. I do think there might have been some borrowed Skippy Awesomeness towards the end though.
Fantastic series so far, fun, sick, twisted, literally laugh out loud funny, Jeff Hays is incredible, he never disappoints

If you like the previous 4 books this one will not disappoint you. Another masterpiece great entertainment. even greater set up for the next books.
Imaginative, and fun. Vocabulary needs to be improved. But it is what it is. So not bad.
I got about 3 hours into this audiobook before I had to give up. The performance was fine and the story concept was good. The low-brow humor was tolerable. I just could not abide by the treatment of women in this book – especially the detailed descriptions of women getting sexually aroused by being brutalized…
