Once this story got going, I loved every minute of it. It has quite a bit of humor, but it’s not over the top. I always love good bard litRPG’s, and this one does a great job with the setup forcing social solutions. Many books in the genre have low charisma main characters forcing combat..

Review from The Butcher’s Masquerade →
Carl is angry unnecessarily, sometimes acting like an idiot. The descriptions are getting increasingly absurd, and not really funny. The AI voice is now screeching and annoying more often. The pace of speaking is uneven. Sometimes too slow, sometimes too fast in the heat of the battle. Overall still a good listen, not as good..
Fantastic!

Loved hearing the audio, the pacing is good and its still funny as ever. The little jewelry box at the pawnshop is my favorite. The voicing is greatExcept i didn’t really like the Teresa and Kora voices during the ending chapters. Great audio book. Love the voice acting Jeff, Annie and Justin have great voices

You had me at enthusiastic double gonorrhea, but yet the book still continued for some reason even though this is obviously the zenith of prose and everything that follows is a mere shadow of the greatness previously achieved. It does feels a bit clunky in parts, though still maintains a good flow through the book..
