my final thoughts after listening to this whole series are as follows “that was a good book” I’m very satisfied with the author’s ability to tell a great story, and to so thoroughly end it so well.

Jeff Hays’ voice acting is phenomenal! Entertaining and funny story. So much fun to listen to! I don’t often binge listen my way through a series, but I can’t help myself! Loving these books!

Love these books! Big fan. They’re the only books that I can never recommend. Anyway, this one is def a publisher’s greed push. It’s a half passed off as a full book. I’m very disappointed in the publisher. That said, Illiv and Soundbooth did great.

Overall I liked the book, I had some minor gripes about the narration quality but I enjoyed the listen. Major spoilers ahead!!! When he gives the dragon cpr I wanted to throw my phone at him, don’t do chest compressions if the heart is still beating dumbass.

Not only is the story awesome, Carl and Donut keep me on my toes whilst throwing me off balance from laughing so much. My torso aches, but it’s a good ache! 😂

I was excited to see where the author took the series after the last installment and the ending in the fourth book. The beginning of the book led me to believe that it would be more science than fantasy, however whether the science really does take a back seat to the fantasy story.. That’s OK if that’s what you’re looking for.
