Great addition to the series. as always with Jeff Hays & Annie Ellicott the narration spot on. Good storyline and progression. Really looking forward to the next book.

The world is creative but the conversation and characters leave much to be desired. Wish the character development would be more of a focus
it would seem those that cannot write try to supplement it with violence and sex they said cells but not for me I’ll pass thank you

The writing gets tedious when you have to listen to the level/stats of NPC’s being listed out in a long string. Five goblin warriors, three goblin workers, named goblin warrior. Good narration. Plot is okay. Writing is young adult in quality. The characters are really lame. A whole story about player vs player vendetta. Not great. Not continuing this series.
As stated and a well thought out story with many twists. The quality of the narration is top notch and paired well with the flow and pacing of the story. Though ultimately it was a good listen, The reason for my 3 stars is that I don’t think I would recommend this book to people..

If you ignore the fact that the very beginning of the book the main character wakes up from a drunken state after having had a drunken night of group sex, that’s really about the extent of that type of talk and given the circumstances of the story. after that you get mentioned that a one-on-one..
