A silly little story about a bunch of silly little goblins and their misadventures that somehow works beautifully. The narration was also top notch. I’d love for there to be a sequel.
I’ve tried to describe the premise of this book to my friends and it sounds ridiculous but it is so good. I struggled a little with the first book but I am on book 6 now and it keeps getting better and funnier. Normally I prefer to read books but the voice acting only improves..
Matt does it agian! With just one book he’s able to immerse you in a new world and introduce you into a family that is quirky and odd yet familiar. amazing work
Not the best litrpg I’ve heard so far however it is by far the funniest book I’ve heard and the best narration hands down. Super excited to dive into book 2.
The writing is top notch, the emotion is earned and always lands, this book flies by even as long as it is.
Operation Bounce House explores themes critical to being a human right now. I stopped the book at one point because the premise hit too close to reality for me. I loved the characters and the world Dinniman created. My only criticism was the pacing, as the beginning of the book was a bit slow for..
The story is told well, has a good and dark sense of humor. Reminds me of the Borderlands game. I was hooked immediately and the main characters are definitely well written. Princess Donut is hilarious, yet cute and Carl is so practical that he makes for a great character. Agatha for me is a mystery..
I love the story, but Temu Patrick War Burton was a terrible choice for narrator. His vocal style seems so forced and unnatural. I’d honestly rather a robot voice than this guy. I’m swapping to the print editions going forward.
After DCC this did feel a little short, but it was great and chock full of the kind of thoughtful and touching g social commentary I’ve come to appreciate in his work. Voice acting was excellent as always
