I almost didn’t read the book because I enjoyed the first three so much I didn’t want to ruin the series. The negative reviews almost skewed me away from the purchase. Happy I decided to listen though. Sound booth always does an amazing job with a wonderful narration. I have to ask though what happened..

Come on, such a primitive story with stupid turns of events. No one can survive a zombiepocalipse but a little bunny can. This girl who thinks too much of herself and no really entertaining and on a big scale scenes like battles only several skirmishes. The drow voice of a main character is definitely NOT..
A great find!

The sound design just keeps improving, the story raises stakes in clever ways, and the cast is fantastic. I stumbled across the first in this series and tried it on a whim. 2 weeks later I’m caught up and in need of book 5. if you haven’t gotten to this series yet – do it…
i love, love, loved this serie. my biggest gripe is how unfinished it all seems at the end. big plot with august vs other gods. forgotten after the first couple chapters. the clockmaker is set up to be the true big bad of the whole story and nothing ever developed from that reveal. to all..
Loved the earlier book, this one was as bad as they were good. Silly decisions, things happening just because they HAVE to happen for the story to continue, stuff like that. Spoiler… What kind of moron would vow to a dark god to never let his child be harmed in *any* way by his enemies?..
