no stats to speak of, very strange ending that isn’t a cliffhanger, more like a wtf moment… the first books were great but I don’t know if I want to continue this series.
This book is spectacular just as good as the first if not better. Definitely a must listen to series
Interesting and unique MMo reasoning in litrpg typically not seen in other of same genre. I erroneously thought it would be more of the same but instead was divergent at the right time in the story and mechanics that was actually worth a Damn!
So you like fantasy, you see Monster Hunter… you make a leap in logic. Nope. no Vamps or werewolves, more like adult Pokémon with a hint of a harem in the future. Decent story, maybe the characters might develop a bit further beyond battle, whine, grope/get groped by virtual girl, rinse and repeat. Could have..
The story has potential. There’s not really any character development or world building. Relevant world information is mostly provided as needed. A lot of things are skipped and did cause me some confusion. I still don’t understand the gauntlets. They shoot energy, that’s about all the explanation we get. Overall, it’s a pretty shallow experience…
This story is getting more tedious. Everyone complains about everything but doesn’t want to earn what they want. Skills and items? They complain about not having them but then balk when told how to get them. Devin is more and more unlikable as the saga continues. Wants to be a leader but doesn’t wanna manage..
great story, I love jeff Hayes the only thing that annoy me is when Alexander doesn’t spend his unused attribute points
