This is one of the best series in the many audio book series I’ve listened too. The story and the narrating is 10/10. Some book series in this genre tend to get dark and depressing in the middle of their story lines. Not this one. Every book is fun to listen too.

I really loved the book when I originally read it. Jeff Hays did such a good job, I was completely swept up in the characters all over. And decided to reread the whole series from the beginning!
This is a great LitRPG! If you are looking for a fun and clean experience, this is it. It pulls from a lot of familiar video games but doesn’t delve into info dumps like certain bestselling 80s fan service bestsellers.

The sound effects and music took an amazing story and made it insanely immersive! This was the best mix of sound of any audiobook I’ve listened to. The absolute best! since this is the 2nd book and they ended the previous one suddenly this one picks up right away and stays pretty well paced through all 11+ hours
it took a little bit to get started but did become more enjoyable as the story progressed
