Review from Dungeon Crawler Carl →
He’s barely a hero. She’s annoying and emotional. I love it. This book is funny, bloody and simplistic in its story arc. Perfectly fun.
It very much is the humor of someone who doesn’t get sarcasm or nuances. Everything is in your face, nothing is hinted at. Every joke is explained and obviois to the point that you can not ignore them. They are also everywhre. The actual story is decent but the humor just breaks it for me…
Just look at this thing approach to the use of indecipherable audio/video feed to the brain, it is similar to the Matrix movies, Ready Player 2’s UNI headsets, and Dakota Krout’s Completionist Chronicles, it the way that the feelings were real. It was an amazing story.
As you should know by now Dungeon Crawler Carl books are a complete Hoot! Matt Dinniman doesn’t let up! Every level is harder. Level 5 is no different giving us plenty of monsters, puzzles and now some nasty feral gods too, I swear it’ll keep your action-lovin-heart sated! The apocalypse has happened and the surviving..
Frakin hilarious! Great story. Will listen again after the last book. This storey reminds me of some of my best gaming sessions.
SPOILERS listen till he gets to the new world listen to the first little bit then i recomend skipping all the whining and jumping to around the 5 1/2 hr mark. if you get to the goddess back up about 15 minutes and go from there. it really feels like this is where the story..
Fantastic voice acting, sound effects, and I love the story. I’ll definitely find the next very soon. Perhaps we can work on a project together, this story would be awesome on screen.
This book is amazing. The humor is rediculously well written. The characters and their development are masterful. Jeff Hays did a perfect job on the narration, too. Best litrpg on the market.
