Great character development, not the standard superhero story, and an interesting world. Can’t wait for the next book.

Great character development, not the standard superhero story, and an interesting world. Can’t wait for the next book.
I relistened to the previous Life Reset books in preparation for the fourth in series. I love both fantasy and sci-fi. I was delighted when I got the big whollop of actual sci-fi in this fourth book. Course most gamelit is based on the concept of a virtual game based world. But somehow Kuznits worked..
Besides is Universal Income, Chase seems to do nothing else. He complains about food and his apartment, but seems to have never considered a job. Also, Chase is a weak willed person. He is pushed around by everyone all the time. Rarely does he stand up for himself unless Iris gives him the okay to…
It was both hilarious and disturbing in a good way its definitely not for kids but is absolutely perfect for a DnD player
I definitely wasn’t happy with the ending of the last book. More because I was upset it ended with so many promising things undone. I’m sure Kuznits felt the same way and why the author wrote another entry to this virtual world. Overall fun dive back in, not as great as the first book. However..
Great story but I’m really impressed by the production value, the voice actors, music & sound effects. This isn’t just an audio book, it’s an experience.
Sometimes the additional sounds in the background add to the story. Rustling leaves for example. For the most part they are very distracting. There is music in the background for fight scenes that really take away from the story.
