GREAT LISTEN
Review from Dungeon Lord: Otherworldly Powers →
I gave this 2 hours to hook me in. Production is amazing. Definetly reminded me of anime styled videogames with its overly sexualized women, campy story telling, clueless main character and weird world. It had all the great concepts of being a great audiobook but It wasn’t exciting. Very bummed about just not having fun..
I quite enjoy the story and the lovely voices. Only one complaint and that would be the music and sound effects are overshadowing the voice actor thus making it hard to hear what’s being said.
wonderful story, characters, character development, and twists. the narrators do an amazing job and the author achieved a great balance
The music is too loud in parts, comes in and out ..and just sometimes does not match what’s going on
MC keeps saying he has problems with notifications and never adresses it. Constantly skipping loot and “forgetting” items he has that could have helped or saved him in the future. Every gamer knows inventory management is a constant. This MC didn’t get the memo
I’m flabbergasted fuck punctuation this book is awesome the best voice actors I know as well as music to help with atmosphere and an awesome story to boot wow wow wow finally some good fucking food.
The storyline is good, but all the multiple person sex play gets tiresome and takes away from the story. entertaining, but will probably not listen to the remaining six books.
I love that Soundbooth theater does cast performances for audiobooks. I feel like it really sets their work apart. The concept of the book was really cool. It was cringe-worthy at parts with teenage romance. But it was kind of like a car wreck that you can’t help but look at. Definitely a guilty pleasure.
