memorable characters, unique mechanics and plenty of laughs and enough to keep you wondering whats next

DCC is a magical world not so unlike our own. It’s helped me through one of the hardest years of my life.

I love the series. It is a bit out of my normal reading genre but I have it a shot and I’m glad I did!

Love the world and character building. The humor in it is great! Thoroughly enjoyed listening and on to the next one.

Second time through and I’m still left speechless. The writing is so good. Devastatingly good. Can’t wait for the next book. Matt and Jeff are amazing.

Repetitive storyline but the ending epilogue made me want to continue the series. The performance is top notch!

There was no real story, just fight and kill monsters. Carl and Donut are lack luster protagonists at best I found myself hoping the end of the book would be them getting obliterated by the level collapse. Unfortunately it ended in a cliff hanger. I have no interest in reading the next book.
