Jeff Hays is a master narrator! Saw the name of this series in a forum while looking for my next good listen, so I thought I’d give it a try. Its amazingly good. I’m a HUGE fan of Harmon Coopers cherry blossom girls and this is like a darker version of that. Starts off a..
So absolutely amazing! I’ve never read/listened to an rpg type book before (though I do play tabletop games myself) and found the style incredibly engaging and entertaining. The story was pretty engaging until the very end. There was a abrupt ending to the plot using a McGuffen. This was pretty jarring and most of the books main plot points and conflicts went unresolved.
