I needed an invigorating listen, and while this book definitely relied on some old dungeon core tropes to make it a dungeon core story, it breathed some amazing life into it!

This is book 4 in the series and my first review. I went through the first three books fast enough I just did not take time to rate them. I found the series to be a little bit Dark in content but acceptable. I found the idea of playing an RPG from the monsters point..
So sad its over, but what a great ending. I loved being able to go on this adventure. Thank you Mr. Kuznits. And thank you Mr. Hays for bringing these characters to life as you always do.
…minus the “I never thought it would happen to me.” While the story did resonate with my inner twelve-year-old, it was a bit too ‘adolescent-apparent’ for me to enjoy. The reviews aren’t wrong: the premise is good, the math is annoying, and there is definitely some fantasies being (partially) played out. Some points that might..
Another homerun! I love this series I wish I didn’t take forever to get a new one. Hell just put me in coach I’m ready! It’s a wild ride in these dragon lands.
overall, I liked the story, the look into another part of the Delvers LLC setting, and it’s nice to keep a consistent narrator through both series. I haven’t tried the Nora Hazard books yet, so I can’t compare them. my only gripe, a small one, is the occasional over use of analogies. it’s a bad..
THIS is what I signed up for. Adult fantasy with no sugar coating of the adult situations. Super stuff for grown folk.
loved the story and the audio production. ca t wait for the next book. hope there are a lot of books to come for this series.
