couldn’t take it anymore. the narration was lackluster at best. the sound effects were a joke

Things really heat up for Jack and the crew. This book has tower climbing, kingdom building, system exploiting. All the good stuff you have come to expect from this excellent series. The narrators did an excellent job as always. I burned through the whole thing in one sitting.

There is a lot of foul language in this series. I don’t swear and in most situations I find it offensive. The gratuitous swearing of the dim witted is jarring and annoying but it’s done well in these books and not without reason. Dinniman has my respect for using it to achieve realism and humor..

the story was overall great. sure some areas were a bit ‘unbelievable ‘ at least for our world lol but still flowed good and great performance!

It pushes boundaries just enough and is funny all the way thru! Recommend 10/10

This is not a epic that will stick with you for years. But this os a good book that you can not put down. It really makes the character likeable and tortured in a human way. give it a shot for a popcorn action ride.
