the sound effects were awful. almost couldn’t get through any part with spider queen. sounded like a door hinge ok a chalkboard

Only wish the music and sound effects were less intrusive. It made it hard to hear the dialog in several places and broke the immersion.

I’ve enjoyed this series from the start, but I need to give credit to the voice actors here …at times I thought they were doing the most, n I was not a fan of the sexy time scenes but holy shit Chapter 53, the confrontation with the sister …that performance was hands down the best..

I won’t say at what part because I don’t want to ruin any story elements for anybody. but near the end there is a part I literally had tears. just goes to show you how invested you become in certain characters.

Love this style of book and cant wait to start next two. There are many but this one seems to be perfect for me.

This was a fun book. Good audio production. excellent narrator. Jokes were off the mark a lot, but it got a lot better in th second half. Not a great book, but a fun listen. I’m definitely getting book 2.

Love the progressive rpg style. Needed something after finishing the cradle series and this one hit every note

I tried to make it through this but just couldn’t. plotholes like talking to a monster then later saying you can’t talk to monsters until they are captured. lots of repeated stats, skill lists etc. which is probably an effort to make the book longer. There is lso a lot of not so great singing..
