I haven’t had a book that didn’t have at least one part that lost my attention in minutia at least once through the run time… Until now. this book had my attention from second 1 till I had to go back to the menu and buy the second book. I laughed out loud so much..

I don’t mind the occasional “God damnit!” but Dinniman seemed to default to that phrase every 2 minutes. Loved the first few books but I can’t finish this one. Really it feels like I never started it because I have no idea what’s going on. I’m going to return this one then maybe get the next book hopefully it include a synopsis of this book which will bring the events into light. So..

Usually books like this start with someone getting stuck in the game but in this one it shows the characters need for redemption and vengeance and has a psychological aspect with some similarities to the bobiverse series and the sound effects are a wonderful addition
