Review from Shadow Sun Expansion →
I wasn’t sure if this book was going to be for me and was pleasantly surprised with a fun and entertaining story that managed to incorporate several aspects of LitRPG into the character development that made the excitement jump off the page. As fans of LitRPG are well aware, many of these books can veer..
The book builds up a large suspense and then abruptly ends leaving the reader with a shockingly dissatisfied feeling. It fells like someone gave you a book with a torn ending.
This story reads like a decent fanfic of a quasi-Tolkien world. Though you don’t need to pay all that much attention to what is going on to know what’s going on. Characters don’t experience too much growth during the story, next to no struggle, and consistently feel like personifications of ideas instead of living characters…
Oh my God. Where do I start? This series rivals some of the most timeless novels I’ve read like Eragon. Truly inspired and masterfully written
Beware – listen at your own risk. This book is an exceptional lit RPG. A bit dark sometimes but thoroughly enjoyable. Can’t wait for the next installment.
I listened to the 1st book, and I do not know why I started to listen to the 2nd one. Neither are worth the money
I loved this book for the fact that the fight scenes are some of the best of the series so far and i like how they incorporated the two extra characters from Charms side book. I love this series and i continue to enjoy the audio books as they come out.
I have highly enjoyed this book series so far and i look forward to hearing the last book in the series. This is probably one of the best novels so far in the series and i look forward to hearing how book 7 goes.
