A very simplistic story. Honestly if I didn’t buy the trilogy for a credit I would have never gone past the first book.
just love it!!! the whole story, the cat, the cheating girlfriend, the nursing home folks!!! I cannot wait for the next book…. Jeff also does an amazing job narrating the story. He captures the feelings of the characters and his voice changes are simply amazing! Bravo!!!!
The bad guy is insanely over-the-top. If you can get past that, it’s a pretty enjoyable ride. I would call this power fantasy/gamelit. Some RPG elements but they’re very light and mostly meaningless.
