I really enjoyed the book and I am looking forward to the next in the series.
Great book
Review from Transformation →
Love this series. The the effort to develop the supporting characters really brings the story to life. The ONLY thing I wish is that the MC had input on his stat progression but that is really a minor personal preference. I like to hear how they work through the decisions on their character build.
It was a very good book. Took a different approach to light and dark. The performance was done well by the voice actors but there was a constant echo in the background when some people spoke… (it is not terrible but slightly annoying)
I like the book overall, and the performance was okay, even with the background music during battles. But I had to quit as soon as he met Fuzzy. Good god, every few seconds they add in the most annoying crying/squealing/fast breathing from he bear that is just terrible. Every time Fuzzy does anything they add..
Narration by narrators were great but I cringed every time sound effects and soundtracks boomed over narration. It was not well balanced for general listening.
I have read the entire blaise corvin library on audible and it’s definitely his style. I loved the story and it’s development but it was a really short book and it deserves a sequel.
They took their presentation game up a notch with this novel and where I expected an “ok” story I was drawn in heavily after a quarter of the book. Well done.
First and biggest issue is sound effects idk who thot it would b a good idea but they are horrible… if you can get past that it starts out decent got a good start my issue with the book is I cant relate to it for some reason he is looking for new bases and..
