I dont leave bad reviews because most books I don’t like aren’t bad, just not for me. The Fairy in this book ruined it for me though, she is so over the top, whiny, and dramatic, plus the dungeon just seems way to understanding of her… eccentricity. Without the fairy I think I could have..
Weak minded and weaker willed mc. Kept alternating between serious idiotic and snarky. Jeff Hays is a wonderful narrator but even he had a hard time giving character to the mc who was dragged along through the story.

this boon was great and I especially loved Anne Ellicottt’s rendition of shiny star at the end.
It was a fantastic adventure so far, but I hope it isnt simply the end of a story….otherwise I feel as if my money has been wasted. I need to know what happens next! Does Lucas become a king? what other powers does he gain! please make more!!!
the readers almost killed this for me. the alt voices by the main Male reader can get a bit odd but okay. The girl voices, that was horrible. I usually like multi voices okay but hers were ridiculas. if you can take voices like someone is reading to a 3 yr old, go for it…
