well written enough, no issues with narration.bored out of my mind.technically there is storyline, humor and adventure, but not enough characters and no camaraderie between them. just slaying, devouring and leveling.
Little world building, meandering plot, under-developed characters, and a self-inpressed author fixated with being crass for the sake of it. Apparently, this is a new storyline in an existing world, so a lot of the setting assumes you’ve read the other stories. I don’t know why the characters want to be heroes without imposing why..
On multiple occasions I found myself unable to continue listening simply out of frustration and surprise. Take a chance on this series and go for it! The premise is unique, the narration absolute top tier, and the writing is damn good too.
It’s too easy to get swept away in these books, especially with the top notch narrating.
