I didn’t think it was possible for this story to progress any more. I’m glad that I was wrong. Boxy is just as intriguing as ever, and the addition of new characters and plot development is coming along nicely. So glad they added Annie to the cast, although I wonder how Jeff would have pulled..

The whole series is exceptional, this book however has an addition of sound effects that I absolutely hate. The sounds of swords clashing and other effects do nothing to enhance the audio experience, they actually are an auditory distraction from listening to a well written and narrated book.

Great ending to the Trilogy. I only regret putting off this series so long. I would have appreciated Runner in Arand’s other series more had I know.
