The take on Boxxy’s new life is as epic and monstrous as ever. An intense story with lots if hidden, dark implications throughout. I don’t what changed but in the last few hours of the book the narrator went overboard on the sound effects, like adding in pointless music and other crap. It annoyed me enough I almost stopped listening.
I love this series. It is unapologetically what it needs to be. The performance is outstanding, if all audio books were produced like this. It could rival movies in my opinion.
