it was probably problematic satire in some places but I enjoyed the story immensely. the narrator was amazing.

It’s definitely interesting. A lot of the MC’s childish and immature behavior comes from a place of trauma (on top of an absolutely insane childhood). My favorite parts were when he didn’t just act like a (sometimes) helpful, immature, misogynistic, gaming man-child. In this book, he flip-flops between that and someone who is definitely antagonistic..

Great development of the characters we know while being introduced to great new (or potential) baddies. Amazing narration By Annie Elliot and the Soundbooth team brought the story to life in my ears. Can’t wait for the next one!
Pros+ narrator was excellent+ the story, while not unique amount litrpgs, was decently written. + action was written fairly well Cons– the two main characters weren’t very likeable.
