Solid contiuation of storylines from book 1, even adding interesting branches. Has similar rpg elements: magic, combat, spells/abilities progression, and a few weapons & armor thrown in. As in 1st book, this is heavy on village development and resources management, like a RTS/civilization game. I found these aspects boring, and started tuning out the math..
