First off, Jeff Hays’ performance is great. Beyond great! The story is just the best. If Hitchhiker’s Guide had a one night stand with Running Man… this is what you’d get. I have listened to many Litrpg books, but this one… I could see this one go mainstream.

Another amazing story in this trilogy. I see many complain about the sound effects and the sound blue thing of the piece. But frankly I find that very entertaining and immersive. let alone the quality of the writing carrying the rest of it.
I did not think I would like this book just from the picture and sample but a LITRPG group recommended it. Holy hell I love it out of 700+ titles I have read or listened to this has to be the most Original and FUN book I have had the pleasure of enjoying! I hope..
No harems, cussing is 4 of 10 and the main character is actually likeable. The four stars is just because of the cussing, but if you are good with that I highly suggest this book.

That ending was just annoying, unnecessary and forced. The book would have been so much better off without it. I don’t like it but still enjoyed the book overall. The writing throughout this series seems to always be improving. Though he still seems to have the, “every character is white unless otherwise described” mentality amateur..
the only issue I have with this volume is the author kind of ignores the fact that he turned the MC into a halfblood vampire in the last book. You can count on both hands how many times the MC uses his vampiric powers. I hope that changes in the next volume. other then this..

I LOVE the narration.I LOVE the story.I LIVE the characters aI even LOVE the afterword love-fest between the author, voice actors, and editors. The story was surprisingly good, and as usual Jeff Hays gives a masterful performance. If you love gaming based novels this one is well worth your time.
Great continuation of the adventures of my favorite homicidal chest, even if he does evolve beyond being a mimic. The series so far has been a great blend of darkness and humor. There are some disturbing scenes, but they move the plot along. Can’t wait to see where the series goes next.
