I listen to a lot of military scfi, and this is a very creative storyline. There’s some corny stuff, but it’s original, and there’s more character development, (which I like), than there is in many books of this genre. I look forward to books 2 and 3. The reader is the one fairly big problem…
I love how these new writers keep making their main characters do udderly stupid things in order to make the story work or to provide that extra bit of drama… a good story, could have been great
This book had so many good ideas, which made it all the more annoying when it failed to deliver on them at all. Lucas is just a terrible villain, and the author didn’t make me believe he was some ruthless CEO at all. He comes off as a regular ass litrpg protag that is just..

The story keeps going strong. Lots of action, mystery, struggles, humor, you name it. The narration is as always great quality.
This is a very nice addition to the litrpg genre. Epic fantasy, cool battles, character growth. It’s all here. Add some great narration and I’m sure I can recommend this one if you liked any of the points above.
the book was great a bit chopped up more than I’d like it I wish it was A bit smoother transaction but the book was still amazing I just hope the next book is put back on here so I can listen to the second half of the time
Few awkward bits that feel pretty forced but a pretty solid entry into the genre… However for whatever reason the VA is accompanied by sound effects and bad background music which kind of makes an otherwise good performance hard to listen to…
Great story and Narration! While mapping a mine for silver deposits, Jack stumbles across some lost (alien?) technology and manages to get transported into a Gameworld on the verge of collapse. Now he has the opportunity to raid a dudgeon, save a town, and win the heart off a strangely enchanting maiden. If only he..
