the writing is pretty bad and the characters are horrible people. the main character doesn’t give a second thought for the collateral damage he causes. I cant believe they produced 6 audio books of this trash.

Actually a gold standard for the genre IMO

This book and the last one are on the list for some of my favorites from the LITRPG genre. This book is right up my alley. First of all, it feels like it’s written by an adult, for an adult. The MC is actually a mature adult man (relatively speaking of course, he’s a huge..
I’ll say this much. I have very high standards for a litrpg novel and like all readers; my tastes are specific. LITRPG works are particular in that they seem to attract a more teenage level form of stimulation. That’s kind of how this book read for me. It was close. The MC does struggle with..
This is one of those stories that I have a hard time with because I absolutely loved the concepts and world-building, but found myself screaming at the Adam’s stupidity. There are a lot of familiar concepts here: dying MC with LITRPG elements, alien challenge, tower structure, etc. In spite of that the overall world with..
With this book, Soundbooth Theater added some effects to the voices that made it very difficult to follow the story. There is a whispered conversation that is key to the story later on that I had to almost max out the volume to hear. Also, digital effects were added to some of the characters that..
The only reason I was able to finish this book is because like always soundbooth theater did an amazing job. This book is so boring and was tedious to get through. The last 6 hours of the book was explaining every little detail that it took to rebuild a town and about 20 minutes of..
We get deeper into this ragtag group of hero’s as they further their adventures. With a few twists thrown in to keep you coming back for more. The character development in this installment brings to light some doubts about their place in the world, and how they can best resolve them. Who should they trust?..
Corvin really deliveries in book 2. As we learned in book 1, we have more to the story than just mere adventure. The hero’s have a place in the world, and that place is to deliver it from its current evils. Nothing less than the future is at stake, but who’s future. We still have..
Overall Loved It!
