Such a well written series, I binged the first two and have been waiting for this to come out! One of the best in the litRPG types iv listened to!
I have been enjoying Ken Lozito’s books very, very much. I have several. The characters are always so well developed and engaging. I feel like I become a part of each story. I love his stories so so much!!
LitRPGs aren’t a guilty pleasure because I don’t believe in guilty pleasures, but I also don’t advertise my interest to my friends – until now. This was such a fun listen that I think it will have broad appeal and thus I’ve suggested it to my gaming friends.
the rest of the series has been great. this time around they really over did it with the sound effects, and on top of that, added music. I’m fine with a little of that stuff in my audiobooks, at times it can really bring home a scene, but for every little thing? it’s just obnoxious.
really liked but the mc really makes some dumb decisions and somehow has a good morality despite all that he has gone through also the amount of backstabbing was kinda excessive and because of that the death of THAT character was almost meaningless
the story is great overall, but it suffers from cringy emo dialogue and a crybaby beta MC. It’s a Shame, because aside from those two problems it’s pretty great. So many stories in this genre suffer from bad protagonists that have the mental fortitude of a child and the social prowess of an awkward teenage..
More boxy adventures please 🙂 I absolutely love these books I can’t wait for more and would advise every one to bye them!
but no. This might be a nice demonstration of a great narrator, but there is no story hiding there. I don’t know why and how I got to the middle.A waisted credit.

Soundbooth brought the entire cast of characters to life once more, always a treat to listen to this series! Now to eagerly await the next one :).
the story is great. the performances are all good except for the woman doing the minotaur and pandemonium voices. She’s really bad, it’d be better if a text to speech engine read it. I cannot stress enough how terrible she is.
