this book series is one of my favorites. very interesting power structures and world building. likeable characters and engaging storyline. pick it up.

good story line. moderate use of fowl language. the annoying point is the unnecessary sex scene and overly descriptive details.

This 2nd installment of the Irrelevant Jack series delivers more great tower climbing, awesome spells, cool gear, crunchy stats, cool battles, city building. Starts fantastic, and although I’m not yet finished with this one, I’m already looking forward to the second book!

the main character was kinda “eh” all the characters had emotions lol which gave the story some color.

The first half was definitely a departure from system-based storytelling, opting for a sort of weak fantasy exploration of a hobgoblin city. Finally the main character gets finally into systems again and finds its LitRPG stride again. That being said, I think this is the last book in the series for me.

makes a really good prequel/transition from gun meister I can’t wait for the next book to come out
