This is a great stand alone story performed well by the talented Travis Baldree’s. The story starts slowly and doesn’t have the level of character development seen in the DCC series, but it speeds up at the end with some great twists and turns.
I really like “Dungeon Crawler Carl.” And that series has a pretty strong anti-corparation theme, and has some alien racism. But DCC’s setting includes factions and races that are millions of years old. The humans from Earth express the type of racism that has gone past caricature and entered the ridiculous moustache twirling evil territory…

Finally an appropriate amount of chickens. Helped full the gap of DCC. Definitely makes me think about what is going on in our world.

Interesting story that twists as the chapters move. I will definitely listen again and again.

jeff hays takes the trophy for voice acting! I love that princess donut 🍩 gets more of a prominent role and putting carl in his place more than once!
