Where book 1 spent an ample amount of time strategizing on leveling-up options, book 2 went overboard to an inordinate amount of time that made the pause in story arc movement distracting. If this was a novel that was based on a real RPG game then it would have made more sense and even enlightening..

* Warning Spoilers contains in this text* this book is fn amazing and this whole book series. I’ve listened too it several times and I just love this whole concept of murderhobo monster. please make more books. this is one of the best and funniest book series I’ve ever heard. And keep Jeff Hays on..
Nice story(I seriously liked it a lot), but the main char is some garbage as a player. Facetanking, staying basic, he calls things cheats but doesn’t really utilize a lot of stuff in butter ways. Like if you invested in getting that charge enchantment you could just charge weapons and hand em out for lending..
