Absolutely loved it. A breath of fresh air from the rest of LIT rpg novels.

very entertaining story. the first part of the story where the main character is alone wasn’t my favorite part but once more characters were introduced the story really got good. couldn’t stop listening and wondering what was going to happen next. overall very entertaining. looking forward to getting the next volumes
fantastic surprises. I was definitely expecting something else. it’s a unique perspective on fantasy that is well worth the listen.
Charles Dean weaves another fantastic tale of Lee and his crew as they they wander, the treacherous paths of the game. Jeff Hays is fantastic as narrator and you can easily get lost in the prose and very involved in the outcomes. Cant wait to start the next one.
the video game portion of the story is okay. the real life sections are really bad. the Aunt thing is especially weird.
This is a story about a guy who doesn’t like it when others push people around who proceeds to push people around. This is ok litrpg. Go read The Land for something better. Also there is an obi-wan moment that is a bit lame. The book does end well enough. I’m glad there are not..
noticed some people complain about a annoying echo, guess they didnt notice it happened everytime a character had an internal thought and was put in on purpose. Great series though
I really enjoyed this book and the other books in the series. Sad i have to wait now for the next book.
I kept waiting for the story to get a little more exciting. Instead the author glossed over anything that would be considered interesting and it just read like the guy next door’s diary. It wasn’t 100% boring but much more boring than I expected for sure. There’s far better real life biker books out there.
But after my effusive review of the first book, I can’t say that the second one quite lives up to the promise I saw. Don’t get me wrong, this is a totally entertaining and adequate sequel. Each part of the storyline is fleshed out and interesting. This novel just lacks the cohesion that pulled all..
