There is no real build up with this story, it hits the ground running and never stops! If you are a gamer or a ttrpg fan I will bet you will enjoy this series. Also any fan of adventure stories will enjoy it. Fun all around!!!

I like the creativeness of the writing. It makes you laugh and smile. Takes you out of your real world.

The story is very engaging and the characters are deep, with just a tad bit of twisted soul’s that Dinniman specializes in. As always, Travis Baldree and Jeff Hays bring their A-game for narration. At the end of this book I couldn’t help thinking that this would make an awesome movie.

I listened to Dungeon Crawler Carl mostly while working and driving, and it was the perfect high-energy audiobook. Even when I zoned out, I was entertained every time I tuned back in. Matt never lets me down. The characters are all lovable even the villains at times. Always surprises at each corner. He definitely “Carls it up” in all the right ways. The voices are amazing. Hope this series makes it to streaming or a movie series

I love the characters and the stories within the story. The performance and immersion system is fun.
