This was all right I guess I probably personally didn’t care for it because of the changing of characters constantly
The first book was decent, a good read. This one was a bit of a let-down, its okay but definitely lower-quality story than the first one. The narration was awesome from Annie Ellicott and Jeff Hayes thay are the shining stars, in my opinion, I’ll get almost anything they produce!
This is a great book and really pulled me into the story. I would recommend that you get it and immerse yourself ito this amazing world.
The main character is profoundly wronged by a corporate entity, signs a contract under duress, and is somehow convinced he’s bound by it. It’s like if someone wrote a novel about chess and had the antagonist use his “super queen move” to triple checkmate for extra points. Jeff Hays is pretty good though.
I took a chance with Super Sales on Super Heroes because it was on sale. I saw it on a 2 for 1 special and thought. Meh, why the heck not. I don’t want any of this other stuff, sure I’ll try it. I had some hours to spare, so I popped this in and..
this honestly felt less like an independent volume in a series and more like a setup for what’s to come and in that regard it fell kind of flat the book isn’t bad just meh. I am however looking forward to the next installment as that promises to be way more interesting
