ok for a mindless romp if you want to support a new author but it’s not much better than tolerable. a lot of the story decisions aren’t very well thought out and the author takes too many things from major franchises. It’s not always possible to be original but damn… at least try. the performance..
The reason I really like this authors books, is he/she weaves societal issues into a very fun story arc. I’m not sure it this is the way the author ticks or some deeper intrinsic drive – but they do it masterfully. And it’s a very entertaining, fun story with characters listeners come to care about…

This is a really good book but the echo/reverb that you get will nearly drive you mad especially if you have sensitive hearing. There was enough echo and reverb going on it took away from my experience of listening to this book then the actor playing Oren’s voice keep changing the way he sounded but..
Soundbooth out did themselves again. 10/10 audio engineering. This combined with the stunning voice talent and atmosphere create a legendary piece of art. I’ll probably listen again JUST for that alone. As for the story, well done again by the author.
Each book just gets better. The twists and turns always keep you guessing what is going to happen next. Time for book 6.
