This is such an amazing book series. the whole time I was kept on the edge of my seat. I love the humor in it. I can’t wait for the next book!
Absolutely loved listening to this book!Normally, I bounce between the kindle version and the audible depending on where I’m reading (driving in car vs a quiet moment at lunch), but with this book, I ended up walking around in headphones all day just to keep it going. On content/plot: this was a pretty decent blend..
Slow start with poor narration. Finally got decent 20 hours in. The story however did capture me enough to try the next book
I’ll keep it short. I dropped this series after book 3, here’s why: – Protag makes Batman look like a mass murderer. One of my biggest peeves is artificial conflict, and a lot of the conflict in this story arises because Ed refuses to kill. Anyone. Despite how cartoonish some of his enemies are. –..
So…Good book.Well written, and good continuity of the series.Sadly a bit short with only like 10 hours, but still worth the buy to keep a good series going. Summers has a good concept and a well done story, with a decent mix of her MC’s irl interactions. Ellicott, and Hays did an admirable job on..
The lisp was distracting from the story itself. Will probably never listen beyond the first story again.

A fine addition to this series! I know it is only the second book but it is already one of my favorite series and I am waiting for the next book with great anticipation! I love the characters and how they are developing. Jeff Hays has done another exceptional job and I can’t wait for..
If you like The Land Series you will like this. There are some differences between this and The Land but the protagonist is not as dumb. He is a bit to cautious and gets bit because of it. Lots of sub plots to think about on multiple layers! The first book doesn’t leave you with..
Great book! I hope book 3 is forthcoming? I loved this read, and the narrator was awesome. It starts slow, pay attention and hold on for the ride!
