Absolutely terrible for me I would imagine for a young video game addict it might be cool. Worst imitation of Arnold ever I only made it to chapter 9.
what was that?

Absolutely terrible for me I would imagine for a young video game addict it might be cool. Worst imitation of Arnold ever I only made it to chapter 9.
I went in not expecting much and found myself pleasantly surprised at just how deep it got. The characters were likable with distinct personalities. Most stories with a premise like this you expect the girls to fall over themselves to get the guy with him somehow oblivious. that did not happen. I wont say much..
But what was that ending this time? I’m confused. And a little disappointed. I think I was hoping for that grand finale ending in this one, but that’s not the point. The story just seemed to stop and go into a postlog of wtf?
I’ve enjoyed this book, along with all the previous ones, but I felt like the ending battle was a little rushed. Also Jeff and Annie did a great job!
The performance was very well done, but the good news mostly ends there. The story is a bit generic, and the characters rather thin, but neither of those is necessary bad or unexpected. The long *long* blocks of endlessly repetitive stats really broke up the story’s momentum and spoiled immersion for me. I’ve enjoyed many..
I waffled between giving this a 4 or 5 star, but didn’t have much of an emotional reaction? Still excellent work. Excellent work. The action was excellent, especially the moments of everything falling into place, of high points and victory scraped by, of cleverness and guts. I enjoyed seeing Ed’s situation and dungeon grow and..
the game is just a game the real story is the life of the character out of the game. This book has got to be among the very best fantasy novels and second only to The Land saga series in character development and reasoning.
Wasn’t a fan of the voice artist that did the female voices in the story. Took a bit away from the experience, but the story was good.
Each character sounded like they had their own voice. Didn’t get confused once. Story was excellent and can’t wait to listen to the next book.
Many GameLit books can come across cheesy or insincere. War Aeternus manages to stay aware of itself, and pokes fun at the cringey things some other books do. The story was thoroughly enjoyable, the characters were believable, and the narration was on point. Now, pardon me, I’m off to start book number two!
