The last book in a great set is always bittersweet. You can’t wait to see where it goes, but hate to see it end. The conclusion of this set is a good story! The narrators are awesome as usual. Sound booth is top notch. This entire set is well worth the listen!

This is my third time listening through the trilogy. It’s been enjoyable each time, creative and intriguing setup for the next series. I’m going to follow the suggested reading order on his website. Love this series, the characters, action and story. incredible job!

Normally I’ve been underwhelmed by litrpgs but this one was better than I expected. It had fairly basic systems, characters and story but it was fairly solid overall. If you’re looking for a way to spend a credit and something to listen to while you’re doing something else I’d recommend it.
This episode was as entertaining as the past two books, what with the addition of Frank. For being a human-transformed monster hybrid, outraged at the one who did this to him, Frank was rather sanguine about his new form and became a formidable companion for Connor.
