The author and narrators have struck gold with this book!!! I mean wow, some books are amazing reads but lack good narration; similarly there’s books that have superb narration and a very lackluster story. This book is the best of both. Character depth and growth, good backstory, and villains that you can’t help but sympathize..

Oren is a terrific character. Easy to root for, fun to follow as he grows. Typical RPG layout with very sympathetic NPCs. A fun read, keep ’em coming!

A few stories a great the rest are absolutely boring… the original story line is by far 100% better. This is a waste of time and money

Amazing series, was not expecting it at all but oh my god is this a gem of a book. If you like adventure, coold blooded killing, masochism, and a good laugh then you have come to the right place. Read this then the rest in the series, amazing books.

I love this series its hilarious and quite entertaining to say the very least. If you liked the first keep reading. If you have not read the first go read it then the next two. Absolute gem of a book.

There were so many great moments in this book that left me clinging to my phone as I listened. I had real feelings of frustration, pride, and anger as I followed the main character’s struggles. I will be re-listening to this series again and again

for the first few chapters it was boring. there was no attention grabber but after that the story picked up. definitely will get the next book
