Listened to all 3 in the series and they are all so good. Very niche audience these are made for, but if you love RPGs/LOTR/D&D there is absolutely no doubt that you will enjoy this. Hopefully there is a 4th one coming?

Narration was the only thing carrying this book, but even great voice acting could not save this story.

I enjoyed the story, but didn’t like the added sound effects, like background battle noise, sword noises, etc.

Good story, well told. Almost forgot there was only one voice actor his portrayal was so good.

It started off a little slow, but towards the end picked up quite a bit. Ended up liking it and will listen to the next one soon.

Basically, it’s a Harry Potter-type story set in a world with video game mechanics like having status screens and selecting abilities.
