i took off a star on performance due to the narration change volume to be lower when characters a in dialog with others or thinking to their selves. I had to constantly increase and decrease the volume to hear everything. other than that story was extremely enteraining
authors overuse of the phrase “to his/her/their/its core” when other wording may be more impactful distracts from what goes on.

Most MC in this genre are granted quick fix or overpowered while this MC remained relatable and used intellect to save the day. It was an entertaining story however some of the voices had echoes or effects added to them which was slightly jarring and distracting. Will be reading more in this series.
